  1. Day 2 Visit the highlights of Tehran

    After your breakfast, we start the day with a visit to:

    • Saad Abad Palace Complex
    •  The National Jewelry Museum of Iran
    • Carpet Museum
    • Milad Tower

    Your dinner will be served at Milad Tower Revolving Restaurant.

  2. Day 3 Move to Hamadan via Qazvin

    Early in the morning, we drive to Hamadan iva Qazvin. En-route, we visit:

    • The shrine of Shahzdeh Hussain
    • Friday Mosque of Qazvin.

    Then we continue driving to Hamadan.

  3. Day 4 Hamadan- Kermanshah

    After your breakfast, we prepare to visit some worth-visiting attractions in Hamadan including:

    •  The Tomb of Esther & Mordecai
    • The 12th century Alavyan Tomb Tower
    • The Tomb of Avicenna (died in 1034)
    •  Ganjnameh, the cuneiform inscriptions by Darius I, and his son, Xerxes, carved on the rocks of the mountain.

    Have your lunch in Hamadan. Then we head to Kermanshah. We will stop at Kangavar  to visit the Temple of Anahita, the goddess of water and fertility.

  4. Day 5 Kermanshah- Takab

    In the morning in Kermanshah, we will visit:

    •  Taghe Bostan, (UNESCO World Heritage Site) the magnificent Sassanian reliefs, Then head to Takab and en route visit:
    •  Bisotun to see the important Relief/Inscription of Darius the Great, which is 4000 feet high on the mountain face, and the Parthian Reliefs.

    We continue  driving to Takab, to visit the ancient site of:

    •  Takht-e-Soleiman (UNESCO World Heritage Site) .

  5. Day 6 Takab-Maraghe- Kandovan

    Today,  we will head to Maraghe  embark on a half-day city tour of Maraghe to visit :

    • Gonbad-e-Sorkh, with its fantastic brickwork.
    • Observatory of Maragheh
    •  Mulla Rostam Mosque

    In the evening, we drive to the  heritage village of Kandovan .

  6. Day 7 Kandovan- Tabriz

    After your breakfast in Kandovan, we drive to Tabriz, and sightseeing in Tabriz. Visits includes:

    • Azarbaijan Museum
    •  Arg-e Alishah
    • The Poets’ Tombs

    We finish the day at the traditional bazaar of Tabriz (UNESCO World Heritage Site).

  7. Day 8 Tabriz- Ardabil

    In the morning visit:

    •  Blue Mosque
    • Eli Goli 
    •  Constitution House

    Then we drive  to Ardebil  to visit:

    • The Mausoleum of Sheikh Safi-eddin Ardebili,
    • Local bazaar

  8. Day 9 Adrabil- Bandar-e Anzali

    After breakfast, set on your coach and head to Anzali via the spectacular Heyran valley and Astara city.

  9. Day 10 Anzali- Ramsar

    Today, we drive to the nearby town of Rasht and enjoy a short excursion to:

    • The traditional village of Massuleh
    •  Visit Masal, known as a lost paradise

    Then we will return to Rasht and drive along the Caspian Coastal Road and small towns and villages to Ramsar, the ‘old’ Riviera of Iran.

  10. Day 11 Ramsar-Gorgan

    In the morning, we drive to Gorgan via Chalus and Sari, with short stops to visit local markets and interact with local people.

  11. Day 12 Gorgan- Mashhad

    Today, we drive to Mashad, via Gonbad-e-Qabus, to visit the highest brick structure in the world and one of the oldest tomb-towers in Iran!

    Then we continue to the ancient town of Neishapur to visit the tombs of Iran’s celebrated mystic poets:

    •  Omar Khayyam and Attar Nishapuri.

  12. Day 13 Full day tour of Mashhad

    Full day spent in Mashad, Iran’s holiest city, and the centre of Iran’s largest province, Khorassan Razavi.  In mashhad you will visit:

    • The Shrine Complex of Imam Reza, the Eight Shi’ite leader
    •   Gohar Shad Mosque
    •  The Mausoleum of Khajeh Rabi’

  13. Day 14 Fly to Shiraz

    Today you have free time to explore the Bazaar of Mashhad. This afternoon you will be transferred to the airport for direct flight to Shiraz.

  14. Day 15 Full day city tour of Shiraz

    Full day city tour of Shiraz, the city of “roses and nightingales.”

    You will  visit some highlights of Shiraz:

    • Eram Garden, with charming “Chai-Khaneh” (tea-house)
    • The Arg-e-Karim Khan 
    • Vakil Mosque
    • Vakil Bazaar
    • Nasir-ol-Molk Mosque,  known as the “Pink Mosque” 
    • Narenjestan Garden
    • The tombs of Iran’s greatest lyric poets, Hafez and Sa’adi

  15. Day 16 Shiraz- Perspolis

    A full day excursion to Persepolis, one of the most important sites of the Ancient World.

    • Naghsh-e-Rostam to see Ka’be-Zardosht (fire temple/sanctuary), and Royal Tombs (also Achaemenid); plus seven magnificent Sassanian rock-reliefs (including Shapur the First’s famous victory over Roman Emperor Valerian)
    • Naghsh-e-Rajab, a nearby grotto with several more important  Sassanian reliefs

  16. Day 17 Drive to Kerman

    The drive to Kerman is slow as it is on mountain roads. We will pass along salt lakes, and through spectacular mountains, and outstanding fig and almond orchards planted on the steep slopes of the mountains.

    En-route we visit :

    • The ruins of the Sassanian Palace at Sarvestan

  17. Day 18 Kerman

    Today we start a full day excursion to Rayen area to visit:

    • Rayen Citadel, a miniature version of the Arg-e-Bam, with all the architectural features of a desert citadel.

    On the return to Kerman, stop at Mahan and visit the blue-tiled:

    • Mausoleum of Shah Nematollah-e-Vali, the great 14th century Sufi Leader
    • Shahzadeh Garden

  18. Day 19 Kerman- Yazd

    In the morning you will visit :

  20. Day 21 Drive to Isfahan

    After breakfast, we depart to Isfahan, en-route stop over first at:

    •  Meybod village 
    • Shah Abassi Caravanserai

    Then onward to Na’in another charming desert town. Here we visit:

    •  Friday Mosque
    •  Pirnia House/ Ethnographic Museum and a walk through the old part of town

  21. Day 22 Full day city tour of Isfahan

    We first  visit the famous bridges:

    • Shahrestan
    • Khajou
    • Sio-se-pol

    Then visit the Armenian Quarter with several churches, including the important:

    • Cathedral of Vank

    In the afternoon visit one of the world’s grandest squares:

    • Maidan-e-Naghsh-e-Jahan (UNESCO World Heritage Site), with several sites (the Ali-Qapu Palace, Sheikh Lotfollah and the Shah Mosque

    We’ll walk to the nearby Chehel Sotun Palace, built by Shah Abbas II in the 17th century.

    Those who like, may return to the Maiden and visit handicraft shops which are open on Fridays. The bazaar is closed.

  22. Day 23 Full day tour of Isfahan

    Another full day sightseeing of Isfahan to visit the magnificent:

    • The Friday Mosque 
    • Harun-e-Velayat Shrine and the Ali Minaret

    The day concludes with a visit to:

    • Qeisarieh Bazaar with hundreds of shops displaying the arts and handicrafts for which Isfahan is world-famous

  23. Day 24 Isfahan-Abyaneh

    After having your breakfast, we say goodbye to Isfahan and drive towards the beautiful village of Abyaneh.  En-route we will visit:

    •  Natanz
    • Friday Mosque, Monastery
    • Tomb of Sheikh Abdol Samad Isfahani).

    Continue driving  to Abyaneh, a small village hidden in the Karkas Mountains. Abyaneh is one of the last places in Iran that surrendered to Islam. The people of Abyaneh have preserved their ancient culture and traditions over the centuries and still wear their traditional attire.

  24. Day 25 Abyaneh-Kashan-Tehran

    This morning we drive one hour to Kashan and visit:

    • The historical garden of Fin
    • Borujerdi House

    Continue 2.5 hours to Tehran, and drive by the Mausoleum of Imam Khomeini.

  25. Day 26 Fly back home

    Today we check out and proceed to the airport for your flight back home. Arrive home with the pleasant memories.
